How Our Products Work

All of our vehicle, fleet and heavy equipment products are state of the art, interactive tracking systems based on five advanced technologies to deliver one secure, simple to use integrated solution.  Computing intelligence, Global Positioning Technology (GPS), GPS wireless communications, Digitized mapping, and the Internet.  At the heart of it all, our personal and vehicle tracking devices are compact cellular transceivers, networked to GPS receivers that allow remote monitoring from ANYWHERE in the world!

Our devices are installed into each asset and keep track of the asset's location, speed and direction using GPS technology with pre-selected parameters our clients choose.  Clients choose the circumstances under which an asset will report vital information and how it is to be reported.  This information is forwarded via the digital network to the online interface where consumers can view the activities of their fleet on digitized maps using the internet.  In addition consumers can use their online interface to carry out control functions such as "on demand" requests and actions remotely from any high speed internet connection anywhere in the world.

This photo shows how the process works...

GPS

The GPS is a constellation of 24 satellites that orbit the earth.  These satellites are continuously transmitting data to the GPS receiver integrated into the onboard device, which determines a longitude and latitude "fix" and also calculates the differences in "fixes" to immediately calculate speed, direction and distance of each unit.

Mobile Unit (Onboard device)

The device is installed on your vehicle or equipment.  It consists of a computer processor, GPS receiver and wireless transceiver, each integrated into the unit housing. The device and our systems communicate via wireless networks.

Data Transmission and Management

The online interface is housed within the network operations center.  It is the nucleus of the entire solution.  In essence it is the computing intelligence that captures information and facilitates it's flow.  It manages all the communications between the device and your interface via the internet.  This powerful system is capable of managing millions of devices at once with full security for each.

Internet Interface and other options

Each consumer can access their device in real time by their online internet interface which accesses the network operations center directly using an "intranet" connection between consumer and the network.  Using a standard internet browser we incorporate a windows-based graphical user interface (GUI) and digitized mapping, which provides an easy to use look and feel.  Pull down menus and quick buttons give rapid access to each function of the system - from quick locates, notification options to report set up and printing.

The asset must be within the digital coverage area to communicate with the onboard device and the antenna must have a clear line of sight with the sky to obtain an accurate GPS reading.  The device will always retain the last known location of the asset in the event the asset enters a uncovered area.
